Item Description

The Siglo XX mine is probably best known for it's phosphate species, but there are some very attractive Pyrite specimens that come out from time to time. This piece is a rather aesthetic display piece featuring several relatively sharp, lustrous, modified octahedral crystal on Pyrite on matrix. The specimen is in pretty good shape, and this piece is only one of a handful that I acquired when these pieces came out. The majority of them had such terrible damage that they wouldn't even be worth the cost of shipping to bring them back to the States. A good Pyrite specimen for a Pyrite collector or a specimen to add to a Bolivian or sulfide suite.
