Item Description
A gorgeous cabinet display specimen of Pyrite featuring a few intergrown octahedral crystals with pyritohedral modifications. The faces are rather sharp, with great luster that classic silvery-golden color. The overall aesthetics and elegant form of the piece make it a very nice Pyrite specimen from this classic Peruvian locality. There are some very minor contacts, but it still displays very well, and truly stands out among countless other boring Pyrites I have seen from this mine. A BIG piece to boot, and valued at $1400 in the invenotry.
