Item Description
Pyrites from Navajun are one of the most easily recognizeable and abundant display specimens in the world. They are highly attractive, and arguably the finest crystallized representations of the species. This showy piece features two, well-placed, intergrown crystals to 2.0 cm. The crystals are all razor-sharp, highly lustrous, metallic pale golden color cubes. There is even some iridescence on the cube faces, which is uncommon for such speicmens! The crystals are smartly perched on matrix. This locality is mined almost exclusively for its pyrite crystals, which are world famous and well-known among collectors.
