Item Description
Pyrites from Navajun are one of the most easily recognizeable and abundant display specimens in the world. They are highly attractive, and arguably the finest crystallized representations of the species. This showy large piece features an isolated, 2.0 cm crystal and a striking cluster of three crystals (largest is 2.5 cm). The crystals are all razor-sharp, highly lustrous, metallic pale golden color cubes. A tiny integrown cube flares out of one of the faces. The crystals are smartly perched on matrix. This locality is mined almost exclusively for its pyrite crystals, which are world famous and well-known among collectors.
