Pyrites from Navajun are one of the most easily recognizeable and abundant display specimens in the world. They are highly attractive, and arguably the finest crystallized representations of the species. This piece features a 1.7 cm razor-sharp, highly lustrous, metallic pale golden color cube of Pyrite with a smaller integrown cube flaring out of one of the faces. The Pyrite is smartly perched on matrix. This locality is mined almost exclusively for its Pyrite crystals, which are world famous and well known among collectors.
