Item Description

The famous Stari Trg Mine is the central mine at Trepča was the source of some great display specimens over the years. Trepča is synonymous with beautiful crystallized sulfides. This is a great display specimen featuring a very sharp, lustrous, bright golden metallic crystals of Pyrite, free of matrix. The crystals are cubic in habit, and tightly intergrown to create a very eye-catching piece. The largest crystal measures 2.0 cm on edge. The piece is in great shape overall, and the quality and form of the Pyrite is wonderful. Really eye-catching in person. No major damage that I can find on the display side.
