Item Description
Twin towers of lustrous, metallic, intergrown pyrargyrite crystals with entrancing light iredescent tightly flank a 1.5 cm quartz point on this very aesthetic two-sided small cabinet from famed Fresnillo. The crystals are dramatically set at the crest of the quartz matrix on this very fine specimen from the Raul Orellana Collection. The towers are up to 2.3 cm tall. The back of the pyrargyrites also has most excellent aesthetics. And the "ruby silver" crystals show flashes of cherry-red to wine-red color under bright light. A classic and very showy pyrargyrite and quartz combination from the San Luis shaft from early 2000s finds. Valued at $1000-1250 for aesthetics and combination.
