Item Description
Sparkling snow white quartz, in crystals to 7 mm in length, form the attractive host matrix for nearly splendent, dark pyrargyrite crystals to 2 cm in length. Please note the growth striations on the prism faces which add character to the crystals. This is a classic example of one of the "ruby silvers" from this famous locale. Valued $1800 years ago in a collector exchange, this is actually a really special piece for the contrast...and could be trimmed to make a more special piece, as a miniature.
