Item Description
A classic, old-time and excellent pyrargyrite miniature from the famous Freiberg District. Splendent, deep wine-red crystals solidly compose this sculptural crust. Extremely rich and showy silver ore! Ex K. Kontrus Collection and from the Anton Lechner Collection (very prominent Vienna collecting family of the late 1800s - early 1900s). Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this fine specimen at $2200, more than five years ago.
