Item Description
Pyrargyrite is a highly desirable signature "ruby silver" species from the famous mines at Fresnillo, one of the top three silver producing localities in the world. An elegant stacked cluster of brilliant, metallic-gray, rounded crystals is aesthetically and starkly complimented by the lustrous calcite crystals. The sculptural quality of this excellent miniature is enhanced with the largest crystal, at 1.2, crowning the piece. Combination specimens are, in fact, quite RARE from Fresnillo and this is an outstanding example. The calcite has modest pink fluorescent. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. Valued at $2000.
