Well-crystallized pyrargyrite specimens are rare and are seldom available from the historic silver mines at Taxco. This attractive and fine thumbnail of solid, scintillating metallic crystals is highlighted by the intergrown cluster of sharp, larger crystals aesthetically perched at the top of the piece. The large crystal is 9 mm and you can see flashes of classic "ruby silver " color under bright light. An outstanding thumbnail of the species and locale. Valued at $200-300 for quality and rarity.
