An impressive, highly architectural and excellent pyrargyrite from famed Fresnillo. Striking, stepped-growth, striated, splendent metallic-gray pyrargyrite crystals are very aesthetically clustered. The top of the piece looks like a ruined mountain top fortress! Oxide-coated quartz and siderite crystals with rich coatings of tiny iridescent chalcopyrites are super accessories to this outstanding 360-degree specimen. You can see hints of "ruby silver" under bright light. Pyrargyrites, with rich accessories such as this are very uncommon from here. Little new material has come from this district in recent years.
