Item Description
A very nice, mostly gem crystal of purple Scapolite from the contact metamorphic deposits at Dara-i-Pech, Afghanistan. The crystal measures 3.8cm in length and is transparent to translucent with great luster and intense purple color! There are some internal fractures, some microchipping and the very back of the crystal is contacted. Older material, now, from about 15 years ago, and hard to find in this quality. Valued $1500. 23 grams
