Item Description
Pucherite is a very rare bismuth vanadate, and the orthorhombic dimorph of Clinobisvanite (monoclinic) and Dreyerite (tetragonal). The species was named after the type locality, the Pucher shaft in Schneeberg. This piece is certainly from Schneeberg, but I can't say 100% for certain that it's from the type locality. This piece is filled with micro crystals of reddish-brown Pucherite along with whitish-yellow Bismutite and yellowish Bismite on matrix. A great rarity and a hard to find example from this classic locality. The piece comes with an old label from Minerals Unlimited.
