Item Description

Psittacinite is an obsolete synonym of mottramite. A striking and rich band of blocky, layered, olive-green, mottramite crystals is aesthetically set on the hefty and rich sulfide-rich ore matrix of orange and black descloizite and glassy calcite. Uncommon, showy and VERY RARE combination material from Nageib in the Otavi Mountainland (probably the Gross Otavi Mine, according to a literture search). Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
