Item Description

Psilomelane is an obsolete group name for hard black manganese oxides in the cryptomelane group. Grape-like clusters of brownish-black botryoids form a showy and excellent specimen from this historic German mining district. Very rare from this locale. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
