Pseudomalachite (rare - uncommon locale)

Item Description

Pseudomalachite is uncommon hydroxyl copper phosphate. This rounded, sculptural, banded nodule has been lightly buffed to bring out the rich green color saturation, identical to its namesake. Such specimens from this small abandoned copper mine are rare and this is a very fine and rich example.
