Item Description

Pseudomalachite is a relatively uncommon hydrated copper phosphate found in the oxidized of copper deposits. Scintillating, grass-green and forest-green microcrystals richly cover the front and with scattered patches noted on four other sides of the blocky quartz matrix. Older, very rich, colorful and an excellent example from this famous, extinct open-pit copper mine. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
