Pseudomalachite (classic material) (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A classic Pseudomalachite specimen from the famous Lubietova area in Slovakia. The piece features several richly-colored blue-green amorphous, botryoidal aggregate of Pseudomalachite on matrix. One of the very few specimens of this material that I have offered, and certainly great for the locality. This species is not often seen on the market, and if you're a collector of secondary ore minerals, this is a great opportunity to snag a worthwhile specimen of this classic material for your collection. I am told that this piece was actually collected fairly recently (about 3 years ago).
