A wonderful miniature sized specimen of the classic and desirable specimens of Pseudomalachite from the old locality at Lubietova (Libethen), Slovakia (formerly Hungary) This piece features lovely rich blue-green, botryoidal formations of this hard to find copper phosphate on oxidized matrix. This is hard to find material on the market today, and this particular piece is about as good as anything we've had to offer from this locality for a while. From the collection of Robert (Bob) Reynolds (#RR0660) who passed in August of 2020. Bob was a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of Earth Sciences at the San Bernardino County Museum in California. The rare phyllomanganate-chromate species Reynoldsite was named in his honor in 2011. This piece was priced in the inventory at $900.
