Item Description
Pseudolaueite is a rare hydrated phosphate found in pegmatites. Glassy, pseudohexagonal, amber-yellow, sub-millimeter, tabular crystals are scattered on the green to oxide-tinted crust of bubbly, botyroidal siderite. This pegmatite is the Type Locality for this species, which hosts numerous rare phosphates. Self-collected by Bob Hauck in 1980. Valued at $200.
