Pseudocubic Wulfenite, Mimetite & Calcite

Item Description

A dramatic and very showy, two-sided, CABINET combination plate from the recent finds at the famous Mina Ojuela. A 1.2 cm, blocky, pseudocubic wulfenite caps the piece. One side is strikingly accented with apple-green, botryoidal mimetite and clusters of calcite crystals. Interestingly, the other side is mostly devoid of mimetite and calcite. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but has very modest impact on this impressive specimen. An excellent combination example from this find.
