Item Description
Lustrous, translucent, pseudocubic, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals are very attractively scattered on a sturdy gossan matrix beautifully and richly covered with complimentary, juicy, translucent, botryoidal apple-green mimetite from a recent find at the famous Mina Ojuela at Mapimi, Mexico. The largest wulfenite crystal is 8 mm and is doubly terminated. The exact mine location is Level 6, San Juan Poniente vein. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. The bit of bruising has very minimal impact on this fine piece. The wulfies are small, but this is a very above average small cabinet combination example from this find, with the isolated, sharp wulfies and rich mimetite coverage. Valued at $400.
