Item Description
An STRIKING CABINET specimen with lustrous, PSEUDOCUBIC, butterscotch-colored, zoned wulfenite crystals aesthetically cluster and scattered on an elongate, 3-dimensional gossan matrix from a BRAND NEW find at the famous Mina Ojuela at Mapimi, Mexico. Crystals reach 1.0 cm and a few are DOUBLY TERMINATED. This VERY SHOWY piece has very few broken crystals, as you can see, for such rich coverage. This is a NEW FIND, from just before last year"s Denver Show, where we debuted the lot. We got most of the lot. This is an EXCELLENT representation of this new find, not a cast-off, and we want to have our auction customers to have an opportunity to obtain a fine piece from the second major Mexican wulfenite find, since the San Francisco wulfies in the mid-90s. The exact mine location is Level 6, San Juan Poniente vein. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality.
