Item Description
Classic and excellent pseudoboleite and boleite from the famous Type Locality. Pearlescent, translucent, indigo-blue pseudoboleite epitaxially overgrew the sharp boleite cube AND the two nifty small interpenetrating cubes attached to the sides. All of the crystal edges have the typical reverse step found in this rare mineral combination. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 12903. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). An outstanding thumbnail example of the rare combination species and locale.
