Item Description
A classic German proustite thumbnail from the historic Schneeberg District. Four, sharp, intergrown crystals are aesthetically perched on a "slipper" of a fragment of a much larger crystal. The crystals have the classic "ruby silver" luster, stepped-growth faces and glow with bright cherry-red translucency, when backlit. Old-time, excellent material, certainly 19th Century.
