Clusters of lustrous, wine-red proustite crystals, to 7 mm, are aesthetically scattered on the very sculptural gossan matrix richly covered with granular acanthite on this artistic and dramatic combination specimen from the early to mid-2000s finds at the open pit and underground Imiter silver mine. This mine is noted for excellent wire silvers and associated silver species.
