Item Description

Sparkling, pretty rounded masses of primary malachite are aesthetically set on matrix. The upper botryoid looks just like an onion head. This fine old-timer is from one of the many copper mines in the Kambove, Katanga area and was probably acquired by Sam Gordon on one his collecting expeditions for the Philadelphia Academy of Sciences in the 1920s.
