Item Description

Nifty rosettes of highly lustrous, emerald-green, primary malachite plates and a starkly contrasting lining of bone-white granular dolomite fill a colorful vug in hefty sulfide matrix on this showy and excellent combination example the famed Tsumeb Mine. Bladed primary malachite of this style and luster is quite rare from Tsumeb. Ex Alfred Stevenson and an East Coast Collection and comes with a Zweibel Mineral Kingdom of Woodmere label dating from 1973-80.
