Item Description

Primary malachite specimens are not that common from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. Sparkly, mint-green lathes of primary malachite form tufted aggregates covering the mounded, undulating matrix of pastel-pink, cobaltoan dolomite rhombs. For the varietal, this is an excellent and very rich example of this uncommon malachite form in combination with dolomite. Ex James Webb Collection.
