Item Description

Malachite is reported, but is very uncommon from the famous Kombat Mine, source of some of the finest cerussites extant. This very showy, 3-dimensional miniature crust is composed entirely of radial tufts of beautifully chatoyant, acicular primary malachite crystals. The needles scintillate in light! Older and very rare material from the 1960s or 70s from the Jaime Bird Collection.
