Item Description
A large, excellent, old-time, combination specimen from the famous Old Dominion Mine at Globe, Arizona. Sparkling, emerald-green, primary malachite microcrystals in bubbly, botryoids richly cover the sculptural quartz matrix. A large field and clusters of colorless, glassy calcite rhombs are aesthetically set on the piece. Note also the scattered patches of pastel-green chrysocolla as a nice accent. An attractive large combination piece from this historic Arizona locale, probably dating to the 1950s or 1960s. Valued at $350.
