Item Description

A colorful, excellent, old-time, combination specimen from the famous Old Dominion Mine at Globe, Arizona. Sparkling, emerald-green, primary malachite microcrystals in bubbly, botryoids richly cover the gossan matrix. A large field of colorless, glassy calcite rhombs are aesthetically set on the center of the piece. An attractive combination piece from this historic Arizona locale, probably dating to the 1950s or 1960s. The piece has several fine display views. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
