Item Description

A very showy, excellent and uncommon combination specimen from the famous mines at Concepcion del Oro. Striking, discrete, pretty velvet primary malachite botryoids on very richly scattered on the unusual, two generation, quartz crystal matrix. Intergrown quartz points are covered with a sparkly, second generation of drusy quartz. One corner of the piece has a cluster of glassy, flattened, colorless, calcite rhombs. This form and combination in this quality is rare from this historic district. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Valued at $400-500.
