Item Description

An excellent, old-time, combination specimen from the famous Old Dominion Mine at Globe, Arizona. Sparkling, emerald-green, primary malachite microcrystals in bubbly, botryoids richly cover the vuggy, brecciated quartz matrix. Two clusters of colorless, glassy calcite rhombs are aesthetically set on the piece. Part of the malachite area between the two calcite crystal cluster is coated with drusy calcite. An attractive combination piece from this historic Arizona locale, probably dating to the 1950s or 1960s
