Item Description

An outstanding and amazingly sculptural small cabinet example of the fibrous primary malachite from recent finds at the Milpillas Mine. This very artistic piece, dramatically accented by the bits of matrix, looks like an impressive green 'T'. Two generations of malachite form these intergrown spherical aggregates, with the striking, elongated fibers really adding pizzazz to this piece. Even the contacted back looks good. A very superior example of the form and find. Get a super example while you can, as the mine is now working the sulfide zone. Valued at $1000-1250.
