Item Description

The famed Jeffrey Mine is world-famous for its superb Grossular and Vesuvianite crystals, but it has also produced some excellent Prehnites. This piece is an attractive group of good-sized, translucent, peach-orange colored Prehnite crystals, which are associated with small white acicular crystals of Pectolite around the periphery. Orange is a rare color for Prehnite, and even a small number of pieces from Jeffrey exhibited this hue.
