Prehnite with Epidote

Some of the most attractive Prehnite specimens to hit the market in a while are the pieces Mali that came out in roughly the last 10+ years They are notably gemmy for the species, and have formed in that classic radiating / spherical shape that is synonymous with the species. This small cabinet piece has many fine, gemmy, beautiful green color spherical aggregates of Prehnite associated with dark brownish-green Epidote underneath. The largest Prehnite "ball" measures 1.3 cm across. An attractive specimen of a species that is not often represented in a lot of collections. This piece comes from a prominent Midwest collection that we recently purchased.
