Prehnite with Chrysocolla and Quartz

These specimens certainly have been few and far between. I personally have only seen about five of them over the last few years. This specimen features several water-green color radiating aggregates of Prehnite associated with GEM quality Quartz crystals and dark blue-green color Chrysocolla spherical aggregates which are sprinkled over the surface. It is not terribly common to find isoloated Chrysocolla aggregates, and although these are somewhat weathered, the association with unusual and attractive to be sure. This locality seems to be producing less material than a few years ago, and this piece would certainly make a very esoteric addition to any Chinese suite.
