Prehnite with Chrysocolla

These specimens certainly have been few and far between. I personally have only seen about five of them over the last few years. This specimen features several translucent/gemmy, lustrous, water-green color radiating aggregates of Prehnite associated with dark blue-green color Chrysocolla spherical aggregates which are sprinkled over the surface. It is not terribly common to find isoloated Chrysocolla aggregates, and the association is unusual and attractive to be sure. This locality seems to be producing less material than a few years ago, and this piece would certainly make a very esoteric addition to any Chinese suite.
