Prehnite with Chrysocolla

These specimens certainly have been few and far between. I personally have not seen many of them over the last few years. This specimen features green color radiating aggregates of Prehnite coated by dark blue-green color Chrysocolla spherical aggregates and a few Quartz crystals. It is not terribly common to find Chrysocolla aggregates like this, and although these are somewhat weathered, the association with unusual and attractive to be sure. This locality seems to be producing less material than a few years ago, and this piece would certainly make a very esoteric addition to any Chinese suite.
