Item Description

Gemmy, mint-green, intergrown lamellar prehnite crystals with striking sharp spearpoint terminations and satin lustre form a very aesthetic and sculptural miniature from recent finds at Merelani, source of beautiful Tanzanite crystals. The large crystals on the ends are doubly terminated, adding even more character. Prehnite crystals are uncommon, as most examples are botryoidal or globular. Tiny Graphite blebs peppered on the back are a bonus. An exceptional and sculptural prehnite from the find with sharp crystals.
