Dramatically sculptural prehnite from this less well-known Swiss locale. The striking V-shaped crust is solid prehnite. Parallel-growth bundles of glassy, translucent, greenish-gray prehnite blades line both walls of this incredibly architectural small cabinet. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 10170 and acquired in Europe in October, 1983. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). An outstanding example from the locale.
