Prehnite (unusual fingers)

Item Description

These are some of the most unusual Prehnites I have seen from any locality. At first glance, one might think that these are "casts" or epimorphs after another species, as Prehnite has been known to do, but upon close inspection you can see that these are completely solid inside, and are basically Prehnite stalagtites or non-epimorphic "fingers". Some of these "fingers" are broken and show a radial growth pattern in the center. I have only seen a handful of these specimens on the market, and nothing new for several years. Really strange for the species. Enjoy.
