Item Description
Prehnite is RARE from the well-known zeolite producing volcanics of the Coonabarabran and Tambar Springs areas. This is a shapely intergrown stalactitic-looking specimen of stacked spherical aggregates of translucent yellow-green prehnite blades. Complete all-around and pristine, the piece glows, when backlit. RARE and choice older material from the Kay Robertson Collection # 8637 and acquired from the Zweibels at the 1979 Tucson Show. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
