Prehnite & Quartz (uncommon locale)

Item Description

Prehnite and quartz combination specimens are uncommon from this obscure South African locale. This sculptural, 3-dimensional crust is composed of frosted, translucent, pretty mint-green, bladed prehnite crystal aggregates. Some of the prehnite has a yellow iron oxide tint. The dramatic vug on one end is floored by drusy quartz and has two striking, elongated partitions of drusy quartz.
