Item Description

Glassy mint-green Prehnite crystals have pseudomorphed a striking and sculptural large jackstraw boxwork cluster of intergrown elongated Laumontite crystals. Broken ends on the piece reveal the hollow epimorphs of the dissolved away Laumontite crystals. Rare and excellent large 360-degree material from 1970s or 80s finds at the locale. Prehnite is RARE from the Lonavala Quarry of the Pune District compared to the much more prolific and famous Malad Quarries of the Mumbai (Bombay) District. Very pretty!
