Item Description

A 4.0 cm, single, translucent, mint-green "finger" pseudomorph of prehnite with waxy luster after a tabular anhydrite crystal dominates this showy small cabinet piece from the famous Trap Rock quarries of Paterson. The broken pseudos on the sculptural base reveal the hollow tubes, where the precipitating fluids flowed and the hollow spaces, where the anhydrite blades were dissolved away. The finger has a warm green glow, when back lit. Classic 360-degree material.
