A classic, sculptural and excellent large pseudomorph from the famous and extinct Malad Quarry at Mumbai (Bombay). Glassy, lustrous, translucent tan prehnite crystals have pseudomorphed a striking jackstraw cluster of elongated laumontite crystals. Gemmy, colorless, blocky apophyllite crystals, to 9 mm, scattered on the pseudos are a super accent to this fine 360-degree piece. Complete all-around and pristine, this is a choice example. The quarry closed around 1990 due to population growth.
