Item Description

A fabulous, artistic latticework of pretty, mint-green prehnite after long, straw-like, laumontite crystals from the famous and mostly closed quarries around Bombay. The architecture of this stunning, two-sided, CABINET specimen is surreal. The long horizontal girder is 6.8 cm and all of the pseudos are hollow. This is classic, old-time and superb material from the Al Ordway Collection # 6610. It was purchased from Rock Currier in the 1970s, when these first came to the US market, according to his label. One of the very best we have seen of this species from this locale.
